We are sad to see Kimberley leave our clinic, however she will be continuing to treat patients at our sister clinic in Harpenden. If you would still like to have an appointment with Kimberley, please feel free to make an appointment to see her there.
We are pleased to welcome Karolina as a new Osteopath to our clinic.
Karolina enjoys working with a range of patients, including children and elderly patients. Her treatments are varied and tailored to suit with an individual approach. She has a long-standing and continuous interest in management of structural scoliosis, especially in children, and can help with sharing specialised exercise plans and techniques.
Here, she shares more about herself: “I have a good knowledge base of yoga, Pilates and postural correction exercises, which I like to share and incorporate into the take-home exercise plan for my patients.
I have a particular interest in detecting the malfunctioning or suboptimal patterns in people’s daily life activities – how are you using your body while sitting on a sofa, walking your dog, gardening, and even looking at your sleeping position. I like helping my patients to become aware of those patterns and re-educate them how use their body in the most sufficient way.
I like to incorporate breathing techniques into my treatment and exercise plans as I believe they can be effective in aiding good posture, stress-management, digestion and strengthening the core muscles.”
